As a trial attorney limiting his practice exclusively to the areas of divorce and domestic relations law, Mr. Macdonald focuses his energy on the pursuit of superior results for his clients. In the emotionally charged atmosphere peculiar to divorce and domestic relations law it is frequently necessary to prepare for war in the courtroom, while simultaneously pursuing opportunities to reach settlement.

Sometimes, however, settlement is not possible and it is necessary to go to trial, where Mr. Macdonald has a proven record before both judge and jury.  In addition, he has successfully tried complex and high asset divorce cases and has substantial experience litigating issues related to the division of retirement and pension plans.Mr. Macdonald's record of success extends to the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals, where he has effectively advocated for his clients.

Mr. Macdonald is a member of the Family Law Section and Younger Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia; the Family Law Section and Younger Lawyers Division of the Cobb County Bar Association; and the Family Law Section and Younger Lawyers Division of the Cobb County Bar Association.Mr. Macdonald is also a member of the T.C.
